Prof. Xiuli Wang

Jiangsu University, China      


Xiu-Li Wang is a Professor and doctoral supervisor. He is a visiting scholar of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Texas Tech University, USA,;young and middle-aged science and technology leaders of ' 333 Project' Jiangsu Province, a "Young Academic Leader" training candidate of Jiangsu University, and a doctor of Jiangsu Province. He is mainly engaged in the research and engineering application of new   energy and environmental protection machinery. He has presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the Jiangsu Provincial Key R&D Program, and the Jiangsu Province Industry-University-Research Forward-looking Project., More than 30 enterprise commissioned projects under research and completed; He Won 3 first prizes and 9 second prizes of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress; More than 60 academic papers have been published, including more than 50 SCI and EI indexed papers; more than 70 invention patents have been applied for, more than 50 invention patents have been granted, and 15 invention patents have been successfully transferred.

Prof. Haixin Sun               

Xiamen University, China 


Haixin Sun, Professor, doctoral tutor, School of information, Xiamen University, mainly focuses on signal processing, underwater acoustic communication, marine biological detection and recognition. From August, 2006 to now, associate professor of the Key Laboratory of underwater acoustic communication and marine information technology of the Ministry of communication and education of Xiamen University, following Professor Xu Keping's outstanding work, mainly undertakes the research of high-speed underwater acoustic communication technology. He served as the letter evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation project, the reviewer of applied acoustic, China Ocean Engineering, Journal of acoustics, etc., member of IEEE, member of Xiamen communication society, member of Xiamen Institute of electronics.

Prof. Jun Peng               

University of Lincoln, UK

Prof. Jun Peng is a Professor of Sustainable Energy Engineering. He received his PhD degree from National Engine Combustion Lab (current State Key Lab of Engines), Tianjin University, China in 1996, for a research on the investigation of high pressure fuel injection and spray characteristics. Then after 5 years working experiences as research fellow in Brunel University and 2 years as senior development engineer in Ford Motor Company, he held the position of Lecturer since 2004 and Senior Lecture since 2007 in the University of Sussex. Prior to his current appointment, he worked as Professor in Engineering in the University of Bedfordshire. Jun Peng’s research interest lies in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and combustion with applications on flows and combustion in IC engines, gas turbines, fuel cells and other sustainable energy systems. His research has involved both numerical simulation and experimental investigation including various laser diagnostics. His recent research works have contributed to sustainable vehicle powertrain, non-carbon water transport technology, combination of solar PV and solar thermal for energy efficiency improvement, etc. Jun Peng is a fellow of IMechE, chartered engineer recognised by IMechE and the member of Professional Review Committee of IMechE. He was an invited fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and the Associate Editor of Electronics Letters (SCI journal) which is managed by IET.

Assistant Researcher. Bo Hu

Tsinghua University,China    


Bo Hu is currently the Research Assistant Professor from Department of Energy and Power Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include the mechanism of flow and heat transfer in the secondary air system in gas turbines, multiple physical field coupling and internal flow mechanism of turbomachinery. He has undertaken one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one topic in the major project from “aero-engine and gas turbine” Centre for the Foundations of Science and several projects related to the marine gas turbine and heavy duty gas turbine. He also participates two topics from National Major Science and Technology Project. He has published over 20 papers and applied for 6 patents.

Assoc. Prof. Guanglei Wu               

Dalian University of Technology, 

China  


Dr. Wu Guanglei received his doctor's degree in mechanical engineering from Aalborg University in Denmark in 2013. 2014-2016 post doctoral research at Aalborg University, Denmark. He visited Nantes Institute of communication and Cybernetics (irccin, formerly ls2n) in 2012 and Aarhus University of technology in China in 2020. He is currently an associate professor of Dalian University of technology. His research interests include robotics and its applications. He has published a monograph published by Springer, published more than 70 research papers, won the Asian MMS 2016 and ccmms 2016 awards, and won international recognition. He is the arbiter of some international journals and conferences in the field of machinery and robotics.

Assoc. Prof. Fengming Du              

Dalian Maritime University, China    


Du Fengming, Ph.D., is an associate professor and master tutor of Dalian Maritime University. His main research fields are marine tribology and computer simulation of diesel engine friction and wear. He has won the titles of "Hundred Thousand Talents Project" in Liaoning Province, "Dalian Youth Science and Technology Star", "Dalian High-level Talent - Young Talent", and 1 Natural Science Academic Achievement Award in Liaoning Province. He presides 1 key project of Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation, 1 Liaoning Provincial Shipping Joint Fund, 1 General Project of China Postdoctoral Fund, and Dalian High-level Talent Innovation Support Plan Project 1 There are 2 Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and 1 horizontal project. Participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the pre-research project of the Ministry of Equipment Development, the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau project, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's high-tech ship project and more than 10 horizontal projects. He has published more than 50 academic papers, more than 40 of which have been retrieved by SCI, and authorized 1 invention patent.

Assoc. Prof. Masoud Hayatdavoodi

School of Science and Engineering

University of Dundee,UK     


Prof. Masoud is the recipient of a number of international awards including the Ocean Engineering and Instrumentation Fellowship of The Link Foundation in USA, and the Rolf Sormans Award in Sweden, among others. In 2016, Masoud was selected as the outstanding reviewer of the ASCE Journal of Waterway, Port, Coastal and Ocean Engineering.
